Inspired by Mimbres pottery paintings, thse authentic designs depict the forces of nature (lightning, rainbows) and illustrate the Mimbres view of the world as a place of playful transformation. The animals may have symbolized clans and lunar cucles and were a spirit line between the Mimbres people and their ancestors.
